Thinking Composition for Stock Photography

Always consider your composition when creating images for stock photo usage.  Here are three photos of the same monument on the Antietam Battlefield near Sharpsburg, Maryland.  Not how the vertical image has plenty of blue skies (so a title could be added - or this could be used for a magazine or book cover).  The two horizontal images give a potential buyer/user a choice of which image would be best for their use.

For success, give your potential customers choices, especially when you have time to choose different layouts or compositions.  You can't do this often some subjects (especially fast-moving subjects) but when you can, it may help you to make more sales of your stock photographs.
